The dark windows look good with your bricks Em.Russ. I guess it depends on what HomeAngels means by 'dark bricks'. Re: Facade colour help 7Feb 03, 2013 11:18 am Thanks Em.Russ Your neighbours house is very close to what are after. We can't have a nice timber coloured garage door so I thought matching the fascia to the garage door may work. If we had them in a lighter colour, along with a light render colour, it may help lighten it up a little This is Austral Chocolate (I prefer this to the below brick) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is Austral Tan (wouldn't go lighter than this) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is an image I just found online (thank you Google image search!) of similar scheme (although not exact colours) to what I'm thinking ie. dark brick, dark gutter, dark windows, lighter garage, lighter fascia, lighter render Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here is a better picture of Austral Chocolate Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Custom downslope build Build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61873 Blog http://www.buildingroyalmanor.blogspot.com.au Re: Facade colour help 8Feb 03, 2013 2:25 pm i like austral chocolate better than tan, and i think that google image looks good. check out lilac's thread, i think her colours are similar to what you're after as well. We also wanted a dark brick and it had to be austral. Thankfully, on the day of selections, we we're shown 2 brand new coloured bricks... both from the everyday life range. Brown and another dark one. We went with brown, I love it! For the rest of selections: Roof: dune Gutters: dune Fascia: surfmist Downpipes: surfmist Raintank: dune Windows: surfmist Render: taubmans Manhattan (only exposed brick at front is patio pillars) We've also gone for woodlook garage door and stained front door to match! fingers crossed it all looks good together...
