I used the Retain-it H galvanised steel posts and 75mm treated pine sleepers. Retaining wall and agg pipe ready to go. Now just waiting for the rest of the yard to be leveled for grass and this section will have crushed rock on top mixed with a bit of concrete so it will be level all the time Re: My retain-it retaining wall - almost done! 2Dec 11, 2012 7:36 am You did a good job -only thing watch out for the ag drain becoming silted over. I just used 2.4 m X .75m sleepers for mine with the small end at about 70cm long. I am concern about the warping / bowing of the timber. However, it'd cost more as I then need to buy more Retain-It Post. Other option I have in mind is to use the 2.4 or 3.0 (like yours) then install Timber Post support in the middle as opposed to cutting. Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that.
