Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Oct 22, 2012 9:59 pm We are selecting fittings for our dream home and visited Reese and got the spiel about the new shower technologies that are supposed to feel better and save water. I am wondering about the Nikles (airdrop) and Methven (satinjet) twin rails for our shower but can find very little in the way of reviews about these new technologies. I know the Methven satinjet won a Choice study on eco showers. Does anyone have anyone have any experience with these tehcnologies or have any recommendations. Re: New shower technologies (Airdrop, satinjet, raindance) 2Oct 23, 2012 7:08 am We have Methven Satinjet rail showers in both of our showers and I'm very happy with them. I can't comment on the technologies but I can say that, despite their being water-saving showerheads, I never feel like there isn't enough water or water pressure when I have a shower. The Bentons store we went to were able to give us a demonstration in-store so we could get an idea of what the showerheads were like. (We didn't have a shower, just ran the water on our hands!) Re: New shower technologies (Airdrop, satinjet, raindance) 4Oct 23, 2012 8:38 pm I like the look of that hand held shower head. Dh promised I could switch ours over to a handheld after handover. still waiting but now I'm glad as this looks nicer than the irwell one we would have had.
