I've waited this long I don't want to have to put it off again!! Well a few pictures. We were up there today and water is leaking in through the light fitting in one of the minor bedrooms. So glad we even noticed it as we don't normally go in there! Don't want to think how wet the roof is inside!! By this afternoon the paint around the fitting is starting to bubble! Especially now that you're getting water leaking through. If the roof cover doesn't meet code, they'll have to correct. Worst case scenario would be to make a house insurance claim--but hopefully it doesn't come to that. Undoubtedly there's gonna be damage to your insulation and wet roof timbers. We've had a lot of rain, but leaking 2 weeks after keys is unacceptable. We wish you all the best with sorting that one out and just getting all the other issues with the tradies coordinated in the weeks ahead. It'll be so nice for you to get properly settled in! If they said we needed to claim on our insurance I'd be asking them to pay the excess! Will go up today and see what damage it has done but can only imagine how wet it must be in the roof to have started leaking through! Re: Our small build (NOR WA) - We're leaking! 1340Sep 15, 2013 10:56 am Don't stress too much fmac. I can assure that in the the building game roof leaks are fairly common and the builder will have to fix it and any subsequent damage.
