Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Sammymac's build! - We have keys!!! :-) 1221Jun 23, 2013 6:51 pm I think so! So tired today! Had about 4 hours sleep, have been out for my partners dads birthday, and now I'm at work. Feeling very unproductive and wishing I were at our new home making it all beautiful. We spent our first night there last night, and LOVED our reverse cycle aircon! I've been away for too long, I missed the whole thing! I totally know what you mean about the handover "clean"... Ours was the same, although truth be told, the movers made such a mess on the floors and carpets anyway when they were stomping through in their filthy shoes, so it didn't really matter how clean it was before the move. Still annoying though that they can't do a proper clean of the place before handover; it's not that hard, it's an empty house! Our place is really muddy as well at the moment, can't wait to get the landscaping and turf done! Your couches look great! Can't wait to see more pics of your house when you're a bit more settled! Having a few issues with my beautiful smartstone bench! I've followed the care instructions and it never looks clean! Here's a before photo of a few non greasy fingertips. Should come off. You can always buy the smartstone cleaner but I don't know how much that costs or how effective it is. Have you called Supremes? On installation I was told to only use water to clean it then if it really needs a polish to use the Cerapol Glass Stove top cleaner and polish (which I happen to have for my stove) but you could also use the Vive glass and mirror wipes which I have also used on the benchtops and also use it for the glass splashbacks which brings them all up beautiful and streak free. The blue cloth in the pack should take off all the greasy marks on the benchtop then you just wipe over with the white one to dry and bring up the shine. These are really cheap and I use them for so many things eg windows in the car!!! (no connection with them just a happy user). http://www.hillmark.com.au/Products/Cerapol.aspx I use the blue bottle and the green bottle as well. Found in most supermarkets.
