Beacon have an online store, also what I've done in the past is ordered them on line then layby the items over the phone then pick them up later. Re: Recommended online lighting stores please! 9Oct 11, 2012 12:56 pm Thanks all for your suggestions, I have looked at all the sites suggested so far. Mica lighting has a showroom in melbourne (they just opened it in the last few months apparently) which is good so we went to have a look. They don't have a massive range on display when compared to their website but we found a few we really liked. Any other recommended online lighting shops out there please let me know.. Thanks Re: Recommended online lighting stores please! 10Oct 11, 2012 1:40 pm I have bought one light from lucretia lighting (I purchased via ebay but they also have their own online store. Their showroom is in Boronia and their warehouse is in Dandenong South) and was really impressed. A replica designer fitting cost me $105 delivered. The products ive tried seem to be good quality & I havent had any problems with them yet. How do they look? On e-bay all their pictures show them used for display, wall & retail display lighting. Are they sufficient to replace general lighting which I presume your old Halogen's were for? Re: Recommended online lighting stores please! 16Nov 10, 2012 12:33 pm They look like 50 watt halogen downlight bulb (I paid $29 for one 10W led in local lighting shop) but 3 leds and replacing bulb in a downlight is easy, straight swap in few seconds. Just have to decide warm white or cool white. Warm is better for ambience, cool is better for office or reading. You can have some of each according to area use. Although that is disappointing that they are resorting to forum spam as a way to promote themselves.
