But if you defame individual employees eg " Jim is a crook" then Jim can sue you for defamation. And truth is always a defence. Thanks for sharing everyone! Nugget - Just wondering whether you were still covered by any warranty installing it yourselves and was it easy and turn out ok? We have about 115m2 to do but my partner isnt keen to do it ourselves if it doesnt look as good if done by a professional... You still get waranty on the product itself, its really not that hard if you use the click lock system, you can have a look on youtube to see whats involved, along with a step by step guide. If you have a family member or friend who is a handy man that could help you it would be good.Alot of people thought we had ours done professionally,we saved ourselves $8000 by doing it ourselves,if you are interested in the company were we purchased ours i will pm you the details. Yes we had to have estate approval as well took about 2 and half weeks. Will you be going through council or comply and develop? comply and develop thank goodness cause I hear our council is super slow. Manhattan 37 builder PS_Sirocco7 Does that include the cornices and filling etc...? Reporting back - no, it doesn't. Two days to get just the plasterboard sheets up. Cornice guy will be in today for about two days. Architraves to be completed by Thursday next week. Also the big news of the day is that we will be at LOCK-UP next week!! Wooooot! Things are still on track for Xmas. Gotta love our SS! Take time to think about what you want....dont take to long as that might slow down the build. Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 978Nov 12, 2012 9:01 am Well, nothing happened last week on our site, despite our SS planning for some work. I'm hopeful there is some action going on today. I guess I will find out later today. [Ricaaaa] Congrats on your colours appointment. It is easier that you think. What I did is search google for house colour themes and look at some home design magz to get some idea of what we liked, then looked in M's small selection catalogue and match things up. From personal and forum experience, they will hardly upsell anything, so you need to tell them if you want any upgrades. One thing I would upgrade is the kitchen benchtop to 40mm (unless you already select 'YES' deal. It will look stunning in any colour You have a month, so plenty time to do quick research on colour schemes and, good luck. (ps. You have to pay extra if you want your walls painted white :s ) Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 979Nov 12, 2012 7:14 pm for anyone picking colours, i used this website, http://www.studiom.com.au/envisage i've only looked at the external but they had all the suppliers that M had, and i was able to see what the house would look like, great for matching colours Aug 12 - First Plan Sept 12 - Final Plan Dec 12 - 5% Dec 12 - Council submission Feb 13 - Colours July 13 - Slab July 13 - Frame Sept 13 - Bricks Sept 13 - Roof Oct 13 - Wiring Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 980Nov 12, 2012 7:34 pm Over a week, and still no activity on our site. Not too happy, as the temp SS told me last week they will have some work done that did not happen, and still nothing. He was talking about slab by this Friday. I doubt it will even be next Friday as rain is in the forecast. Here we go now with 'rain day' claims. It has been now 2 months since we moved out, and at this rate, we will be here for a while.
