Very smooth transition and have to admit Eden Brae did a good job. They assured us at PCI as well as handover that don't think our job is finished after handover, I am always welcome to call the SS if we find issues. Minor things will be there and we will find out soon as we start using the house. But for now, it is time to enjoy the new house. I will upload more photos on the blog by tomorrow. yay! lucky you Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 14115Feb 07, 2017 12:04 pm Can anyone help me with the right number to call? I just visited our home (yet to move in) and noticed water on the bathroom floor, dripping from the ceiling. So I'm guessing I've got a roof leakage (and this is even just within the first 13 weeks...) I just don't have the folder with the numbers to call with me. Thanks Update: I ended up calling Eden Brae and ultimately they told me that whilst I'm still in the initial 'maintenance period', the SS will be pinged to have a look. He already gave me a call. Thought I'd share it in case anyone else finds something 'critical' during their 13 weeks post handover. Usually when structural (or what appear to be structural) issues arise, best to always refer back to SS because they have the means to get trades on site (they coordinate these guys), otherwise if you log in to your EBH web page, the maintenance dude assigned to you will be listed under the maintenance tab ☺ Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 14118Feb 13, 2017 8:09 am skk Hi all just wondering if someone could recommend a building inspector and their charges? Had a look through the thread and noticed it had been pm'd previously. Thanks in advance! I am using Daniel from precision builders and the charges were from 500-600 I guess... depends on 1 or 2 storey... where about are u building? Frame started going up so thought better get onto organising an inspector! Yah that's great. My suggestion would be conduct 2 private inspection. 1. Prelining inspection: this is done before gyprock goes in... so the inspector can check frames.. slab..wiring etc Coz it's hard to check frames.. wire and slab after gyprock and flooring gets installed... 2. PCI: after completion to check the rest... I built with EB back on 2009.
