Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Jan 19, 2012 12:42 pm Hello, Was wondering if anyone might be aware of any short courses on offer around Vic on basic home maintenance. Being a desk jockey and having recently purchased a new house I'm lacking in DIY experience and before I start doing any odd jobs around the house I'd really like to gain some confidence and have the chance to have a chat to experts. I'm not talking about anything too extreme just hanging doors, putting up fences, when I can and can't put nails into a weatherboard house to hang a side gate, decking etc etc. There seems to be course atTAFE Sa but that's 30 hours over 10wks which seems a bit odd. Anyway, thanks in anticipation, it may just be a marriage saving strategy!
