Re: HomegroupWA in Success - The green green grass of home : 1199Jun 24, 2013 2:27 pm Lol! Same! Lucky his friends are less electrical nerds and more actual nerds, so I have to throw in words like 'termagaunt' and 'D20' to join in the conversation House is amazing we are tight for money atm but getting a few small bits and pieces finished off as we go. Just put fresh mulch in the gardens last weekend and they look awesome again! Amazing how much a small thing can make a difference... Still no WIR or fitted out study or reshaped driveway, but I'd need Lotto to do those things I think Your house is beautiful! I drool with envy... Re: HomegroupWA in Success - The green green grass of home : 1200Jun 24, 2013 4:03 pm daveandally1 Your house is beautiful! I drool with envy... haha thankyou! getting the small things done is what takes the time... we have to patch up some window sills as the charming cats clawed it and jumped up and dug bits of plaster and paint off... plaster and paint surprisingly harden quite a lat even after you move in! Also still have 2 blinds and some patching from the install off the others (DIY) to do too, but wanted to wait until the cornices are fixed so we will just make a whole heap of dust then, then clean instead of doing it twice! Our money situation changed a bit last month as I decided to quite my job to start studying Graphic Design! I'm doing an online course though so negotiated part time 2 days a week of work and not managing people (i self combusted and was so stressed that i wasn't sleeping... and was exhausted at the end of every day... most nights there was tears so something had to be done!) So now I am zen Jen, but the downside is I haven't got money to buy house things hahah.... I'd still like to organise the decorating a bit better and get some cushions and a nice armchair for the bedroom. But the less stress is worth it! And Daniel agrees as now I don't go raging at him for no reason..... much Plus hopefully kiddies aren't too far off the horizon, so there will be many things to buy and decorate!
