Is there much to do before handover? Not too much to do. All the internal handles were stolen but I think that was a tradie. The window that was smashed still hasn't been fixed but I doubt someone climbed thru broken glass just for handles! So, still to be done: Fly screens General plastering Final painting touch ups Cleaner Site clean to be finished Door furniture to be fitted Lockable and viewable 'lid' to be put onto metre box Grano to be patched (not very happy about this and will still push for replacement) A couple of cupboard doors to be aligned properly Appliance cupboard to be installed That's pretty much it! They said it will all be done within the 10 days. I have everything crossed it could be sooner! Garage door is on and looks delish Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 786Dec 02, 2012 11:49 pm awww chuffy fingers and toes crossed for you that it gets done within the 10 days Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 788Dec 03, 2012 12:11 am Busting to see your garage door when it's down!!! I have a good feeling that those items will be done within your 10 days, hope I'm right Follow our build blog: http://buildingourhomeamongthegumtrees.blogspot.com/ Build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53131 Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 789Dec 03, 2012 1:36 pm Amazing, Chuffy, you will be in before you know it... and before Xmas, too! WOOO! They will definitely get it done in the 10 days... Keep pushing to replace the grano, you may have handover before that gets replaced but we moved in without a hot water unit so you just get them to do it after, for the sake of getting the keys asap! Re: Chuffy's Bedfordale Build: and baby makes 5! 790Dec 03, 2012 4:26 pm So so happy to hear that PCI went well and that you are still on track for handover Your list doesn't seem to bad at all, but what is with the smashed window and stolen handles I know stuff happens like that on building sites all the time, I just hoped we wouldn't get too much of it up there.
