But I am bias! Thanks, we were looking originally at 2c bricks (Geographe Limestone) but our builder said that we will have to pay over $2000 extra to go 2c instead of 1c, so we chose Cervantes. Looks great. Re: Baldivis Build: air con in and it is go go go! 357Apr 19, 2012 5:22 pm [quote="The Vans"]It is an LG, refridgerated reverse cycle. Not sure of the model though. Guy told me that if we were to ring him and he supplied and installed it would be $15k. We got it for free, after heavy negotiation! So looks like we really did get a genuine deal! The LED world website looks like that is where we will get our downlights from. Good pricing, free delivery and it is everything you need, don't need to add on. And same price for white or silver! Very happy with that! They are also dimmable at an extra $3. Just checking if they are ok in an alfresco area! I think it is still about 5 weeks from key handover...wish it was sooner! I am really starting to hate renting! I didn't see the name of the company who was installing it, whoever Dales go through! Re: Baldivis Build:tiling started! 359Apr 21, 2012 12:19 pm The Vans My paving arrived! This pic shows the charcoal apricot on the right which we are using in the front part of the house, charcoal bronze which is being used at the back of the house is on the left, and the light bison in the middle, which was from another company, just to show the difference in colour. The charcoal apricot still looks a little red, but it isn't. Charcoal bronze and wall colour kitty grey on floor tiles. This will go in ensuite, study, main bedroom, dining/living/kitchen, laundry. For the main bed/dining/living they will be panel glides. laundry would be verticals. Everywhere else will be roller blinds (holland blinds). Two porch pillars partially block these windows, but I still think I need something there. so I am thinking of charcoal apricot in the light filter here. Do you have blinds/curtains/shutters or just leave them open? In our rental there are no window coverings, but I assume that is just the cheap way out of it. Our bathroom is a big window, and although eventually there will be a house next door, and of course a fence up, I don't like the window being uncovered allowing anyone to look over the fence. I know it is obscured glass, but you can still shadows, so don't like it. Our ensuite window is high, so no issues on perving, but I hate the light coming in during the morning, so thinking we need something in there if we leave our bathroom door open. But to not have blinds in those areas would save a bit of money, if it is not a necessity! Re: Baldivis Build: air con in and it is go go go! 360Apr 21, 2012 4:57 pm We have had a busy day today, with a loooong drive to Wangara to see blinds. so after seeing all the things this company has, and the prices of the panel glides, and all these other options, we are thinking of going with different things! Instead of rollers we are now thinking of going imitation wooden venetians in white which look really nice (not cheap like a lot of the fake ones!) and then rollers in the back area with some really nice colours. However the price is going up! Hubby not impressed with price, but is impressed with quality/colours/look. I am still a little unsure on venetians due to dusting them, but there are lots of reasons why they are good! We popped over to house and tiler is there grouting and air con is all done and looks great.
