I did a reverse image search of the sample picture she posted and looks like it is Classica XXL Florence laminate which can be purchased from Harvey Norman here -> http://www.harveynorman.com.au/carpet-f ... oring.html Cheers, Matt Oh i am sorry! I usually reply to everything or try too. And yes it is Florence in the classica by harvey norman of all places. To whome ever asked about if it was easy after handover the answer is yes it was super easy. So much more reliable than dealing with PD thats for sure. They have completed all the installation included in that price. Re: Porter Davis homes 14676Apr 12, 2017 2:28 pm Phoenix Hi Ann, nice to hear from someone who's also building Forsyth! Is it 35 or 38? We're building 35 with alfresco just a cute double storey. Have you started building yet? 12K for engineered boards is a great price! How about your carpet? Our facade is Ludstone with full render and a tile to the small pillar porch and with colourbond roof. We initially wanted Sinclair but it was rejected by our DRP as it was too traditional and they want contemporary design How about your facade? Our Forsyth is the 35, but with the 5th bedroom/alfresco option. It's not as huge as some but it will be big enough for us. I need to sort out my carpet quote but I think we are looking at $4500ish. It's nicer than the one PD had at that price. We have started building. Just a few more months to go actually. Facade is Bayford, with upgraded bricks not render, and Colorbond roof. I really like the Ludstone. It wasn't available when we were first looking. Was just looking at a HN catalogue that came with the Sunday newspaper over dinner and the very same product is on pg 11 for $59m2. Will definitely check it out! Coincidentally I also had a call from my BC yesterday and she told me they got the permit from council last Friday but they need another week or so to give me a site start because they need to send someone again (that might be the fourth person they send there... it's like they keep forgetting to check things) to figure out something with the sewage or they might need a pump. She said at no extra cost to us but we are being delayed again. She also said something about wanting to check for contaminants on our land because one of the site supervisors were told by our neighbor that at one time our site had oil stored on it in a big tank. We told PD about it at sales and at tender and they just said there's nothing to worry about, they don't need to do this test and all of a sudden last minute we actually do. So far it hasn't been as lengthy as yours but approx six months since sales. Re: Porter Davis homes 14680Apr 13, 2017 1:17 pm Naama sinbox Just started my build thread.... I have escalated all the way to the regional manager & have asked for a change of the entire team, but not confident it will result in anything. What's the deal with the pump? Are you building in a flood prone area? Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 12345 Ask for references and speak to them.
