Great to hear all is going well. It's nice hearing everyone's stories of moving in. Pics would be good. We have been packing up again as we have had to move out of where we are living so we are trying to sort out temporary accommodation. Not a good news story at our end. Fingers crossed we will be in by Christmas lol Re: Anyone else building in Glenmore Ridge? 497Jul 04, 2012 8:55 pm checked the ridge out this afternoon & noticed there sites being excavated for a slab however the majority of them look like they are house & land packages (spec homes) several blocks all in a row complete homes & some other builder. Have not been passed as we come in from Bradley St now so don't drive through the other section any more. Will have to drive pass and see the driveway. Well our blinds guy seems to have failed us. Used Central Blinds who initially made everything here but now they are contracting the work out... They are having issues with the supplier now and since we should have had at least our roller blinds this week who knows when. So we are going to get our deposit back and look at going with another company now... PITA! Unfortunately, these things happen, specially when it comes to house building! I've got my blinds (Timber Venetians) done within a week from this Blinds supplier. We ended up using Wynston blinds. They were about $400 more than Sydney screens and blinds but I think they have a better product. Wynston are doing all our roller blinds plus all fly screens and crimsafe security doors. We had chad from the rooty hill office come out. He is brilliant. If you want more info pm me and I will give you his number. A lady in my street in glen more ridge recommended him and she is really happy with her blinds. Our meeting went well this morning. Cleaners were in there today which is good. PCI should be next week but the brick rectification will take longer. A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor.
