Like any vegetation it will require some maintainence. Just cut it back from where you don't want it to grow, if your worried about the brick work grow it on timber lattice. That way you can just pull the lattice off of if you get bored of it and the creeper goes with it. It takes many years to really thicken up and you then need to clip it occassionally. Re: Ugly Brick Wall - Help !!! 9Jun 28, 2011 12:58 pm It would look so much better if it was lighter. Perhaps paint or render it in a light colour. I just realised that we have concreted that side of the house already. Unless I can use a smallish pot. Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011. You could use pots but i would hook up a basic timer to keep it moist in the warm months. Thats terrific and gives you more options but remember not to comprimise any structural or termite-proofing aspects of his building. I'm in agreement with catjim that a lighter colour would look better. Re: Ugly Brick Wall - Help !!! 15Jun 28, 2011 8:59 pm Light render and exterior mirror and wall art maybe?
