Mortar issues. .. Check your appliances probably mine got scratch mark not obvious but there. .. This are some. ..hopefully you can have handover soon. .. Somebody from Warranty team should have called you to take over. Check with your current CSC... or if you have new warranty CSC. Hopefully they'll fix your stuff very soon! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18105Nov 29, 2017 6:42 pm went35 Yes. You can see connection box outside the premises and NBN router in your NBN box. If it is not there. Check with SS if he has done the preinstallation booking. Damn, I have no box on the outside.. and SS says it's client's and NBN's responsibility! Here starts a fight now.. 😦 Thanks went35 for all info. NBN depend on your suburb whether its ready or not. If its in your tender, it should shows NBN cost and its about 1200-1400 I think. Ao, if its not stated in your tender or contract, you wont get it. If you have NBN in your building contract, Clarendon will do all data points in your home. When the house is in lock up stage, the builder can request pre installation from NBN. In pre installation stage, NBN will run the fibre from pit your home, install NBN box and is ready to connect. I have seen all houses in my estate have been preinstalled before hand over (not mine though). I did not know about this and started researching about it. I found Clarendon missed the conduit installation (they installed conduit upto the end of land boundary not to the NBN pit or starter) and pre installation. In my initial follow up, SS and CSC told me that it was my responsibility to do the rest and I believed them. So I contacted NBN to get me connected. They advised me that it was builders responsibility to connect me to the NBN starter. I emailed after sales department and they arranged a contractor to extend my conduit to the starter. As soon as they finished, NBN came and completed pre installation. This should have been done before handover. If your tender shows NBN and cost more than $1000, it wont be just the data points, because the NBN package only give you 2 data points and 2 phones. I think its best check your tender and see the cost and what it states there. If you have NBN package in tender, you shouldnt do anything. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18114Dec 01, 2017 9:02 pm k3nnis bumblebee1985 For those that are in a double storey build, are you able to take a pic of the 2nd storey ceiling finish for me if possible? We've got issues with the way our gyprock is finished - you can see every join across the entire ceiling whereas in the display homes they aren't visible and in other builds they aren't visible... We've been told that a boral rep can be organised on site to discuss the finish and will be following this up early next week to lock in a day and time... Hey, How did your handover go? Take any pics? See below pics of my ceiling on first floor. I don’t see any obvious ones. Can you show me your pics? Thanks Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18116Dec 01, 2017 9:27 pm k3nnis Sure. I will do it tomorrow in daylight. Do you have pics of yours? Would like to see what you are referring to. No unfortunately we haven't been back through but will be taking my camera next time to capture it for sure...All the joins are meant to have been reset but we've caught our SS ****** about other work he's supposedly done so am preparing to see that it hasn't been touched... Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18118Dec 01, 2017 10:16 pm Hi DG Messina, I am deciding on the bricks colours and am confused with Urban one latte and urban one Silver . I selected it initially but now I am thinking of a lighter tone. Do you know any sites where I can see the latte brick house. I am based in Sydney. Regards Andy DG85 Messina we r going all brick - check out urban one latte brick Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18119Dec 01, 2017 10:40 pm Hi Kim, Is this -Urban one latte bricks? I am deciding on the bricks and can't quite make up my mind. Yours look beautiful but the Austral Urban one latte was darker in pics given by my sales agent and I want a lighter tone. Yours looks perfect. Thanks Andy Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 18120Dec 02, 2017 8:56 am DandLBuild czzq22 Hi, I am about to sign the contract with Clarendon. I am wondering if I want to delete flooring by Clarendon and do it after handover. Should I tell them when sign contract or I an do it during color selection? Thanks! Hi, you can do it at either stage. We did it at colours. We are considering flooring post handover as well but not sure yet. Haven't signed the tender at this point in time. We were told the same, flooring can be taken out at color selection. We asked them to price up tiling for some areas instead of carpet and alfresco as well. We calculated Clarendon is charging $12k for the whole house (covering approx 160sqm floor area). It includes carpet in 4 bedrooms and home theatre and tiling everywhere else, including alfresco, patio living areas etc. All from standard range (450x450mm tiles to living areas). Do you guys think if it's worthy let them do the flooring and save the headache of doing it post handover? Warranty? Also if we want flooring post handover, we'll probably have to ask them not to put the skirting in. Will need to factor in the cost of skirting installation (if Clarendon wants to give us skirting without installation) and painting etc after tiling is done. Killara 28 the stair balustrades? There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 6747 The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant. The Dept of Fair Trading would love to see this one! Do the gutters pool water after it stops raining? Although it's… 4 7872 |
