I see that most builders offer 3 coats but Clarendon only does 2 coats and I'm a bit worried that it might be a bit too thin for the white shades. Anyone done 2 coats of any white shade previously? I paid extra to get the 3rd one unfair when this should be standard but no choice. This enables more colour choices too. keep in mind 1st coat is tinted primer/undercoat. 2nd is low sheen paint. so in my books it's really 1 coat if you know what I mean. It would appear that there is a regular installation practice that causes squashed and crushed ducting and that the installers and Clarendon think this is an ok practice the stair balustrades?
