But like you said Spart, they would lose half their business. We changed the whole left side of the ground floor basically and it was no issue at drafting stage. BUT lots of mistakes ensued due to the house not being standard and I heard plenty of times "we are a project builder". So much so that I told them if I heard it again I would walk. We wouldn't have built the house without the changes. We were upfront about it and also said we were tossing up between clarendon and another builder. Tell your sales guy that. That said, we signed in February 2015 so it's possible things could have changed.
