Won't be signing anything though, I want to make sure everything in that contract is 100% before we sign our life away Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9484Jul 16, 2015 10:33 pm light487 When do they ask for the final payment though? Money is due at handover when u get keys. Your bank will want to re value the property before drawing the cheque. I have pci 2moro and certainly won't be paying as there are issues not fixed and still need the bank to value. I'd say I'm 2-3 weeks from handover. Building with Clarendon, Glenelg 29 on the northern beaches, Sydney Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9490Jul 17, 2015 9:52 am Cool. That makes sense regards to final payment. I wonder what the progress of Sydney builds will be this week. It's been on and off raining all week and today it seems it will rain all day We actually don't mind the build being delayed because we don't want it to finish in September/October. We will be overseas for a month at that time, so we're hoping for a November completion. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9491Jul 17, 2015 10:41 am Hi, I've put through a tender request on the 30th June. Can someone please tell me how long it would usually take to be contacted and schedule a tender presentation? Thanks Bella Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9493Jul 17, 2015 11:13 am bk84 Hi bells we were contacted about 3 weeks after we paid our deposit to book in our tender presentation. You should be contacted in the next week ☺ Depends how busy they are. Either way, your Sales Consultant should have been able to give you a tender date pretty much instantly. I think ours was about 3-4 weeks after paying our initial deposit. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9494Jul 17, 2015 11:42 am Hi all another question for those that have done the build and survived to the other side! How full on is it during the build process? I am wanting to try and expand hubby's business at the same time (more staff, a shop etc), but he is worried life will be hectic enough, where as I think we might as well get it all done at once... he will be as 'hands on' as possible during the build, so how much time will it take up?? Thanks Building a Modified Madison 37. Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9495Jul 17, 2015 1:01 pm leese Hi all another question for those that have done the build and survived to the other side! Who's building with Clarendon?? 9497Jul 17, 2015 1:20 pm So yesterday they started to take down all the scaffolding, it started raining and they left. It's nice to get a bit of an idea on how the house will look, well sort of. I don't think I'll have a house by September though as originally planned, I really hope I have a house for Christmas. Not cool scaffolding guys Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 9498Jul 17, 2015 1:37 pm Take your plans with you for your PCI. And check it a million times. However you are still bound to miss things.. I realised yesterday that the towel holder in our powder room is not there! Even the private inspector missed it. Anyways it will be sorted. Also anyone needs soil or knows anyone who wants soil? I have about 40 tonnes that needs to go..
