You can post pictures using photobucket/flickr or similar Your colour scheme sounds nice and neutral, so you could really have any colour you wanted! I am having blockout romans in our bedrooms in a pure white colour, and sheer curtains 'recessed' into the window frame for privacy. As for the verticals I would stick to a lighter colour if I was you. Not necessarily white but not a dark brown or anything. In the bedrooms you could again use pretty much any colour. I like romans for bedrooms as they look 'softer' but it's purely a personal taste thing. Any type or blind or curtain would work. I'd just make sure that all the colours toned in throughout the house, regardless of the type of window teatment. ~*~Moved in on the 16th April 2011~*~ Re: Window furnishings - colour needed 3Apr 27, 2011 8:08 pm The second curtains I like better than the first. The colour and pattern is neutral but with a kick, as it is metallic. this will mean you can change the cushions and candle colours each season if you desire, aqua in the summer, or red in the winter. I would have the shear or a natural blind tucked behind the curtain in your lounge. I think I would keep the colours going through into the dining area the same, not nessacary with the metallic finish. I think simular colour curtains and blinds throughout the house give a more finished look Re: Window furnishings - colour needed 4Feb 16, 2012 2:45 pm Hi Rob, I agree to Zoe's Mama on her suggestions. I think if you stick to lighter colors for your window furnishings would be better way to match with the paint job that you chose for your home. That color of the link is too dark i guess, but the design of the curtain is good. Maybe you should try to shop around or search the net for shops that offer window furnishings. I am sure there are a lot of them there. 1 14469 Hi All, I engaged a tradie to install concrete retaining wall 600-800mm high over 32 meters in Victoria.
