Hey All,
I have two remotes one for the garage and one for the front gate. Does anyone know if I can somehow join one remote to do both??
Thanks

Probably not able to do it if they are rolling code units. it would not be easy in any case. if you had much idea of how to do it, you probably wouldn't have asked. The best option you could hope for is to have a 3rd remote built from the 2 that houses the 2 buttons. Re: Remotes 3Mar 25, 2011 11:34 am Get a tech to come and do it. We have a remote for our electric gate that our techy also made work on our garage door remote as well. The only problem with ours is that the garage remote has to be quite close to the gate to work - it isn't as powerful long distance wise as the gate remote is. Some things are worth waiting for. Thanks Possible for sure but it depends on a few things (frequencies etc.) If you are able to find the manuals you could determine this yourself. You could also get the model numbers of the units and approach the manufacturer of the unit. I have 2 seperate remote doors, an alarm and another device all on 1 remote (4 button) and it sure beats the 3 I used to carry!! Re: Remotes 5Mar 25, 2011 2:47 pm You could also talk to these guys to get a solution. Not sure how much it would be but for the convenience... http://newremotes.com.au/garagesgates.html SK Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34120 Handover 23 Dec 11 Squatting 21 Dec 11 Fixed 12 Oct 11 Plastered 31 Aug 2011 Framed 7 June 2011 Site Start 7 Feb 2011 Land Titled 18 Jan 2010 Land Deposit 25 Jun 2009 |
