We used Compass Pools. As sassid states, you must let PD know that you plan to do this. They put a clause into the contract around this. PD do not get involved in the pool in anyway. You also need to allow for extra additions for the pool that you will need to add to your Electrical plans. We had to be 3M from the house build. We didn't have to change our slab though in anyway as we were 3M away, not sure what happens if you are closer. Compass Pools to a "sleeper" option on their install. They put in the pool then cover it but leave off all the running equipment. Compass Pools wasn't allowed on site the same time as PD. PD then came on site and built the house. After handover, we then got Compass Pools to come back and "wake up" the pool. At this stage the install all the filters and get the pool clean ready for swimming (hopefully you have some summer heat at this time!!!). We had to add to the electrical plans and extra circuit in the meter box and then allowed a junction point at the corner of the house. We also ensured that to this junction box there was a wire running to the light switch inside near the back door - this is used to turn on pool lights from in the house. We installed a fibreglass pool - full install of this was probably around 35-38K, then additions on top of this - solar heating, sunpod, in-floor cleaning system (this I love - we hardly have to do anything!) My husband also had a friend recommend Laguna Pools. Unfortunately you will have to sit down with the Sales reps and get "the spiel", but at the end of the day, it is worth doing to ensure you make the right decision for you. Just don't sign up on the spot. Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 12343 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110572 |
