Looks like I will have to do more homework on this
Hi Dingo, Ideally it should be a Trailing Edge dimmer but the one Touch dimmers arent certified by Brightgreen at all. (I looked at them myself but as I wanted dimming had to drop them after checking with my lighting supplier)
Then thinking the Regular Saturn range dimmers would be fine as per the Brightgreen documentation (Universal or Trailing edge) I went for those instead. Wrong, wrong wrong.
The only good thing is the Luxman dimmers are a universal fit so will fit in my Saturn plates (With the Saturn knobs on them) So will still look the part.
This is the site Brightgreen sent me to - http://www.worldofthought.com.au/store/ ... immer.html
However you can get them cheaper than that. For you though if going for the "Touch Dimmers" you won't be able to install a Third party dimmer as they are touch plates for the dimming, so you cant just clip them out.
So be careful if you do want dimming. If you only want to dim to 50% then they "might" work but at the very least I'd test some prior to forking out your hard earned. Being the Brightgreens are such a strogn light output 50% dimming isnt much and for me you may as well not Dim them at all at that amount. So you might need to go to "Plan B" . At the very least test some.
