Still don't know what type of ret wall to erect out the back of our place. Those brick blocks look really good. I saw them at Bunnings for $3.60 each. Look forward to seeing the finished photos. Cheers Thanks Rowena - The Blocks I used are Tasman Blocks which I haven't seen sold thru Bunnings. You may have seen a similar (probably the Besser Block with the split-face front, I could be wrong through) My footing was still a bit green to finish off my wall today so I built the garden bed along as far as I could today. (sorry no pics today ) I'll do my blocks tomorrow and then also got to buy a couple more plants and then mulch it to finish it off. Re: My Landscaping, Last wall footing Pic 30/9/11 184Oct 02, 2011 6:51 pm I got beat by the rain today. Hopefully the weather is a little better tomorrow. Re: My Landscaping, More Garden Pics 3/10/11 185Oct 03, 2011 5:01 pm Got a fair bit completed today.

Going to fill it with some K'Paws and some other natives so it is easy to look after. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And this is my lawn after it's first Winter. It's already had a dose of Seamungus and I gave it a seasol / powerfeed mix late this afternoon. Re: My Landscaping, More Garden Pics 3/10/11 187Oct 03, 2011 9:29 pm Lex Great progress, KID .. love the big pots! Anyways, how did you apply Seamungus? Just scattered it on top and watered in later? Hi Lex, My to-do list is still long but it is getting smaller. My to-do list now consists of; Finish the corner wall bit. Re-attach the fence panel. Plant the corner garden bed around the tree. Finish building the Veggie patch. Level and turf the remaining area in the back yard. Pave the lower area in the back yard (I found a Boral 400x400 paver today that I like) Stepping stone path and gravel the narrow side of the house. Yes, I used the crumble seamungus. I applied it and as luck would have it, it rained shortly afterwards so Mother Nature took care of the watering. Re: My Landscaping, More Garden Pics 3/10/11 188Oct 04, 2011 2:38 pm Oh wow Knockit! I finally got to lay my last blocks for the wall on Saturday afternoon. Then today I just got going on the veggie patch and I sustained an injury. I was breaking apart an old pallet to use the 4x2's as batons so I could bolt my sleepers together and I stepped on a nail. Luckily it didn't go all the way thru. So it was down to the doctors and that was the end of work for today. Re: My Landscaping, Should not have bothered this weekend 196Oct 16, 2011 7:17 pm Oh, no !! Hope it's not too painful and too risky in terms of infections and complications!! Oh man ... Hope you get well really soon! My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... It will be right in a day or two. Re: My Landscaping, Should not have bothered this weekend 198Oct 17, 2011 7:40 am Have you had a tetanus injection lately? Might be a good idea if you haven't.
