You know that you only have to allow inspections of your unit in the last 14 days of your tenancy. Three times a week seems a lot - twice a week seems more reasonable. Your house is looking beautiful! Love the colours you have chosen It will look even more spectacular once you have your floors installed Re: Our build- back on track....teary in the pantry 1611Aug 31, 2012 6:33 pm Ryan 1977 Bugger the inspections, just explain that you are packing & leave it. yup, that's what we did. Agent wanted to bring someone through yesterday. We had crap and boxes everywhere. We picked up obvious stuff (like toys and clothes from the floor and couches) and washed the dishes, but that was it! What can they do, kick you out?! Will you look at all that LIGHT! *wanders off to stare at currently dirty window...... I've just realised there will be no hiding from dirty windows with all that morning sun on them....a small price to pay I suppose! With the rain & wind we've had for the past few weeks our windows are filthy! But seriously, I couldn't leave it how it was - it ends up looking like we've been burgled every day once DS gets home! Plus with 3 cats we have fur balls everywhere. They said they wanted to take photos I. Said I dint think you do! Sent them some pics I had taken before we had children! Not sure what our lease says as no idea where it is, but we gave 3 weeks notice on Monday and they only started today (except after all that tidying and cleaning nobody came) so it's practically within the last 2 weeks of the tenancy. Next week will be a different story when DH is away and I am stressing about the move. DH leaves before 8 and doesn't get home until 6 or so, whereas I usually have mornings off. Ergo, jobs like that usually fall to me. He gets to climb the ladder and clean the gutters though... But oh no, not every week?! We have just discovered how much the neighbour's huge pine tree sheds - all over half of our driveway. Seems clearing that will be a weekly job also. But, these jobs are so much more enjoyable when it's your own place. We haven't lived in our own place for 9 years now, so I reckon there will be lots of happy "pottering" when we move in.
