Re: Building the McLaren by Dechellis 1445Oct 30, 2014 3:26 pm Hi Lucinda - I just had a look at the Slique website - I looked into that previously and it was very expensive so not an option for us I'm afraid .... Re: Building the McLaren by Dechellis 1446Aug 29, 2015 8:19 pm Hi Mclaren, I have spent many hours reading your build. We are doing our selections currently for 'The Vogue'. I cant recall, did you get soft close drawers/ cupboards? What brand hinges/sliders did Sampina use? I am wondering if i can retrofit them later as it seems to be an expensive upgrade. Thanks for your help. Re: Building the McLaren by Dechellis 1447Aug 31, 2015 9:15 am schty006 Hi Mclaren, I have spent many hours reading your build. Hi, no we didn't get soft close as it was too expensive so we just went basic and we're still thinking about changing to soft close 4 years later ..... the kitchen was one of the biggest disappointments for us though and I would definitely have changed our choice of laminate but it was a steep learning curve at the time .... good luck with your selections! Thanks for your help. Just my 2 cents: We got soft close added to the drawers only at selections, not sure what brand they are, possibly blum. Check the kitchen threads, there has been plenty of discussion on the topic. I believe drawers do need them as we have lots of pot drawers and they are quite heavy. At our last house the knife & fork drawer ended up getting wrecked through over exuberant kids, pot drawers would be worse off, also stops what is in the drawer getting bashed I don't think cupboard doors need them. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110571 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11035 |
