I am going to tfo this week to see if they have anything tasty, hopefully post some pics. The best you can IMO is go for a natural penetrating sealer like one from DryTreat or Aquamix. We have Aquamix Sealers Choice Gold on bluestone floors & it's perfectly matt. They actually look unsealed. Check the websites for accredited applicators. It's not the cheapest option, but is supposed to last 15 years. Re: Travertine tiles? 8Nov 17, 2010 4:57 pm Travertine is a great tile/stone to have and yes as mentioned filled is a must. Honed travertine or polished only needs a natural look penertrating sealer I would suggest Dry Treat not cheap or check out this website http://spiritsealers.com/sealingguide.php we have been using there products now for over 4 years and are very happy with the results. You can seal it yourself the most important thing to remember when using pernertrating sealers is that the excess sealer on top must be buffed off before it is a loud to dry on the surface using a terry towel as once you apply the sealer it penertrates you need to remove the excess from the top, topical sealers/coatings you do not need to buff off.
