Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15447Jul 18, 2017 6:44 pm Cman Omg, thats looks Fantastic, you did a great job mate. Love your kitchen.. Microwave trim kit comes with that indulegence plus package or extra cost? Cman, I found the Westinghouse microwave on eBay with the trim kit and just let the kitchen supplier know. NAMT; that colour is beechwood's 'Stonebridge'. It looks great, not too dark and a real plain grey. Overall we are stoked with the final product. It really does pay to do your research and forums like this one are a fantastic tool for anyone contemplating the process. And yes Tom, happy wife happy life and hubby lives by that so he allowed me full reign in the design and colour selections...I did allow him to choose our roof colour though lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ http://buildingourhumblehome.blogspot.com buildingourhumblehome.blogspot.com.au Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15451Jul 19, 2017 11:14 am Main floor glue down getting done today. Smashing along looking great.. photos don't do justice. Our site supervisour Ben has been through with his tape for checking paint. He's done a fantastic job picking out all issues with paint it's so refreshing to see that the level of detail he has inspected the home with makes us feel relaxed that there won't be any issues with walls joints and paint. They doing a fantastic job. Didn't go 1/3 offset and decided to go stacked. Glad we went stacked as the 1/3 offset would have left some really funny looking tiles in some areas due to the size of the tile and configuration of the walls and the steps in the split. You should nearly be in by now? Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15456Jul 21, 2017 9:08 pm Cman Beechwood allowed only 450X450 ceramic tiles to main flooring or it can be upgraded to 600X600 porcelin or 200X1200 timber look tiles? It really depends on the Beaumont office your dealing with BW just list the 450x450 as a standard as they have to list something. Tap had a win as they didn't have the same range to select from compared to us down south and she argued the point and won. we had 600x300 and they were standard. All depends on the store your going to Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15457Jul 21, 2017 9:22 pm The only thing that I'm not happy about is the need for stairs. The block had a slope on it and was no way out. But have to admit now it's starting to grow on me. Tilers still working away today grouting all the main areas and looks like they will be back tomorrow to silicone the wet areas. Water tank delivery on Saturday.. will see how that goes.. lol and Trevour returned to finish the footing. Things are winding up very quickly and should be finished soon. Positive note deck starts in 6 weeks carnt wait to share some pictures of it all finished.. now to sort out the retaining g walls and drive way.. it's amazing the closer to handover you get the more you think of that needs to be done lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15458Jul 23, 2017 2:21 pm Wondering anyone having a provisional piering allowance on site cost? Currently beechwood charged fixed price piering for $8,000(100 linear metre). That is too much amount for solid ground with M class soil block. for standard M class flat block may need mostly less than 60 linear metre of piering. Charged around $3,000 extra for piering. Anyone had this issues before? Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15459Jul 23, 2017 5:02 pm Hi everyone...just a quick question....I have opted to do Floor tiling later because i wanted 600x600 porcelin.... For that:- 1. How much gap should be left at the bottom . I am planning to keep 35mm. Is that enough/more/less?? 2.has anyone done 600x600 porcelin through beechwood....how much do they charge? Any info appreciated. Thnx Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15460Jul 23, 2017 5:16 pm tecnoz78 Hi everyone...just a quick question....I have opted to do Floor tiling later because i wanted 600x600 porcelin.... Any info appreciated. Thnx Spoken to tile direct about 600X600, they would charge around $40-$60 per m2 for tiles and $50/m2 for additional labour. Anywhere you need $8,000-$10,000 for upgrade with beechwood. Do it after handover will be cheaper.. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110559 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11033 |
