We also have the noodle bowls. For me time will tell with those. Your progress is ahead of us. But certainly is encouraging given we have had a couple of stop/start times. You should be in for Xmas all being well. Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] 162Oct 11, 2010 10:11 pm hey dove We did really like the noodle bowls, because rb wanted maximum cupboard space. We also noticed our garage panel door is on today, which is ace! CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. Tiles are starting hopefully this week, with fingers crossed! Hey Jabblo - you might get a call from NB about the fencing, she told me we have to wait until handover is complete as the site cleans will probably mess it up. I'm pretty keen to still get quotes and stuff, book it all in ready. CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. The colour of our tiles are Floor - Marble Ivory 330x330mm Kitchen and bathroom - Ivory Gloss Wavy pretty bland really but not much choice as I remember. Moving along nicely. will be down on weekend to see what work done.. Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] 165Oct 12, 2010 9:41 pm Hopefully they give us some of our top soil back too .. it's pretty frustrating we've just been left with clay. Yep the tile choices were pretty bland.. we plan to rip these and the carpet up after about 5 years, it's a cheap reno CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. What do you mean DRIVE??? you live across the road from CB i do understand having to drive 100m to my house though LOL not too much has happened at my place externally over the last week, so might be a bit boring. some dudes were in there today prepping the frames for plaster on Monday. so looking forward to seeing some walls Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] 169Oct 17, 2010 3:36 pm ibfragalot99 Gunna take a drive by your house and Bickos on the weekend. They're not landscapers, but they on-sell the soil to the nursery.. it's our soil and if we had a bigger block, I'd be fighting them for it back. It's pretty cheeky IMO. Top soil is not cheap and that stuff was really good pre-scrape. Still, we'll more than likely just pave/reed/sand the backyard bit. Drainage is going to be an issue as the easement is elevated by about 10cm (it'll roll down to our doorway..). The side courtyard is going to only need a few yds of top soil and some seeds, it'll catch on pretty quick Our tiles are all down and grouted - very good quality overall. Heating ducts are in, air return is in and the control panel roughin is also in.. We're just trying to figure out the rest of the jobs booked and the dates. Thinking 4 weeks.. but I might have to ask nicely if they've got dates in mind This is what we think we have left: - Tiling signoff (should be this week at the latest..) - Shelvings and Door Handles (Interior and deadbolts) - Electrical Fitout (solar panel, oven, points, lights) - Plumbing Fitout (dunny, oven cooktop, water mains) - Carpet - Blinds / Flyscreens / Shower Screen - Paint Touchups and Interior cleanups - Site Clean - Driveway - {{QA Checks}} - Handover [Fencing] [Landscaping] [Security Doors] [Celebration!] CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. And once the slab was down, spread it back around the house. Same for my neighbour.. unless there was more I did'nt see. Soil ain't cheap thou for sure... I paid about $95 for a few cms depth to cover my front lawn. Drove by your house last night, it's gettin there Won't be long til your in, a few months I reckon. Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] Almost D 175Oct 18, 2010 9:16 pm Indeedy catjim So we took a look-see tonight, all our lights are now in, comms hub appears to be in, all power/light switches, the heater, exhaust fans, shower screen, mirrors and the lot.. even the smoke alarm! Amazing what they've done in one day.. Just heard from my awesome liason this morning that our PCI is anticipated for Mid-Nov and Settlement in last week of Nov. This is all tentative of course, but we'll keep our fingers crossed! CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. How excited you must be. Just out of interest when do you let Open networks know, still quiet in dark. I went down on Sunday had a quick look they have just finished our tiling so we are about a week behind you so Im feeling extremely happy. All in all I think Burbank have down a great job. Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] Almost D 177Oct 19, 2010 7:24 pm Good news all round Just curious. i know Burbank advertise 7 star houses. what did your houses come in at? Re: [CDandRB's Burbank Victory 1500 - Devonia Park] Almost D 178Oct 19, 2010 9:19 pm Hey Bicko - Energy rating 5, and only *just* for Victory. All other ones like fraggies are 7 star. I think that's called "Future" spec whereas ours is "Advantage". To give you some indication on how well she's insulated, tonight it was 9 degrees outside according to my car, inside the temperature was 17.5 on the heater control panel (about the same on the mercury thermo I had too). Main diff would be in the glasswork and insulation, assuming ours is a little cheaper and thinner. Jabblo, I'm about to tell them our proposed handover date as "end of november", to get them ready-ish. I'll also let them know that the hub's been installed, unsure if we get the paperwork for that one.. looks very well done though, I took a very close look at the cabling. We noticed tonight all our door handles are on, water's connected, gas meter is now in and we have a dunny, hooray! It's a 4 star WELS one which is acceptable.. it feels more like "home" now .. haha.. Your place is flying too jabblo. I've noticed that your driveway seems to be rocked up and looking ready for concrete. There was lots of junk around the sites, so I'm guessing carpet is not far away. Have you been approached re: your gas meter yet? CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. Our Facade is still uncompleted and I noticed that the man hole has a pipe and piece of timber running through the middle of it. So tradies would have to very be very skinny to get through. assume they will have to fix before anymore work can be done. Your front looks awsome. couldnt help my self had a look in back window. (dry enough for me to get around the back). Your place looks lovely. did you update your kitchen tiles... what color is your carpet. I think it was done or it was your underlay on floors. And you are so right about the rubbish around the site I think we have the messiest site around. could you pm me the fencing contractors that you have please. Should start sussing out costs and times when they can be done. especially with xmas coming up they may have long holidays. I dont know about you cd but it is now so close I can SMELL it!!!!! I was talking to the inspector a few weeks back and he said that PD sometimes get 5 star rating on houses without insulation bats id be pretty ** if that happened to my house.
