They can only send the blinds in 3 business days. I really need something now. Are there any stores in Sydney who might stock Redishades other than Bunnings? Troy Re: Cheap material to cover windows 8Mar 26, 2010 9:40 am Tack up some sheets if it's only going to be three days.... Drawing pins into the top of the window frame will do the job. You might find cheap fabric like unbleached calico or something, but it seems a waste of money if it's only for a few days. Quite a few houses around here taped black plastic to the inside of their windows. Some still have it up, long after moving in. I can't think of anything more depressing.... Re: Cheap material to cover windows 9Mar 26, 2010 10:17 am This company says it has a new product similar to Redi Shade, http://www.shuttersrus.com.au/products/ ... /index.php. In their contact details they have stores in Sydney. "Blinds in a Box" also sell temporary blinds very cheaply. I think they may be based in Melbourne though, don't know if they use stockists anywhere else or are only internet orders. They were on the tv program Dragon's Den for new products/inventions. No. The QLD importer advised me that Bunnings is the national distirbutor & they aren't available anywhere else Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Cheap material to cover windows 11Mar 26, 2010 2:08 pm kazza This company says it has a new product similar to Redi Shade, http://www.shuttersrus.com.au/products/ ... /index.php. I dont care what others think as we would rather take our time getting the right window furnishings. We went to Bunnings at Noarlunga today and they had the Rediblinds in a bucket bin at the end of one of the isles They were $5.97 each and will be perfect for our front windows. We tested them out tonight and they do the trick - bargain! Thanks all for your input - now there is no rush to buy window furnishings!!
