Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 26, 2010 6:45 am Hi All, I am very curious as to your thoughts as to how best landscape a kids play area under some evergreens. We are lucky enough to have a nice shady spot in the back corner of our property. I would really love to convert it to a spot for my 2 young boys to play. My first thoughts were to add a cubby and possible sandpit, then to soft mulch the surrounding area. I am worried that soft mulching may just make it harder to clean up all the leaves etc. I think I already know that if I go down this path I am condemned to many many weekends cleaning up the fallen foliage. Was hoping to find out if there are any tips or trips that I could consider? I could possibly dig up a photo of the area it I havnt described it well. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers!
