The end is in sight Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: Our Places Fairhaven 23+ - PCI 22nd 716Nov 18, 2010 11:33 am Thanks guys, was down there this morning to get some security door quotes which ended up coming in at a few hundered less than we'd budgeted which is always a good thing. Our S/S dropped by and he and I spent an hour or so doing a pre-PCI check pretty much went round and through the house making a list of everything major that still needs to be fixed or installed. Ended up with around 3/4 of a page which I think was more than he was expecting. Still PCI is booked for 22nd, just some of the tradies are going to be quite busy over the next couple of days. Some of the *minor* things still on the to do list: Complete plumbing fitoff to the whole house, so all sinks, toilets, bath, showers, downpipes. Wired Services Cabinet hasn't been fitted. 4 kitchen cabinet doors need replacing All kitchen cabinet handles need replacing Terminte Protection pipes need to be re-installed as they've been pulled up in several places Gas line needs to be put in. Garage doors need to be fitted Painters still need to come back for already outstanding issues. And thats aside from the nitty gritty. Re: Our Places Fairhaven 23+ - small steps 718Nov 18, 2010 7:01 pm Johno Hey guys.. Nice to see your a few weeks to moving in which is great!! Now im just wondering if anybody is using Taylors for fencing? if so has anyone seen there work? Im trying to find a good fencer without a expensive price tag! Hey Johno we used Jims Fencing in Berwick. He builds a good fence and is really well priced. He does travel out our way too. Re: Our Places Fairhaven 23+ - PCI 22nd 720Nov 18, 2010 7:37 pm I'd agree herbiecat, though the tone of voice my SS was using with the plumber as he was leaving this morning wasn't all that encouraging as the plumber was supposed to be finished yesterday. However that said, its been too long between photos.
