The contract stuff took me ages too(got in before Sept 31st) However, the build has been quick. So quick it has caught me out on move management. And only the smallest of issues so far(some windows that weren't translucent but should have been). The construction has been neat and quick, no broken tiles or bricks everything lines up perfectly. The build so far has been a joy. I never thought I would be able to enjoy any part of this. Whoever is organising the contractors is a wizard. I was also happy with Ken at colour selection. He had good instincts for what was too dark and what would blend well. Just as well because I'm useless with colours. From all I've heard slow paperwork and a quick build is the way of it with Burbank. So stick it out guys, better times ahead. Gravity. Its the law. At lock-up stage(lock-up stage) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=25438 Re: Building first home with Burbank 54Jan 29, 2010 7:10 pm I am also now officially the land owner at Sandarra, and I believe the soil test should be done??? I think like everyone else that the first home owners are holding up the production line.... But so far everyone has been very pleasant to deal with. Hope the contract part doesn't take months!!!!!!
