I've just pm'd the details to you Duke. Kazzbah61 Hi jbarry I think I can see a few toes of mine in that empty pool hehehe. Looking really great love your timber floor. I reckon you will get handover before the 21st see lets if I'm wrong. Thanks Kaz. You're welcome to come and dip your toes whenever you like. They're spa jets on the seat area, so you can massage your feet while you're there. I can even arrange an ice bucket to keep your Vino cold!! What more could you want!! Hopefull we will have handover before then, would work in better to organise the bits and pieces for the pool. Is it fiberglass with concrete outer or completely concrete or completely fiberglass... I can't tell ... Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - Pool & PCI - PICS! 268Dec 09, 2010 6:40 pm Hi Duke It's fibreglass. They back fill with a sand/cement mix on the day of installation. Then they leave for a week to settle and then come back with a concrete truck to pour a concrete beam which will be reinforced with steel, right around the pool. I think it extends out by around 400mm around the edge of the pool. I don't think any other fibreglass pool companies in Perth do this. Glad to hear that PCI went well for you. Will be very jealous of that pool when the stinking hot summer days come along. Here's hoping you get handover by the 21st. Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - KEYS ON MONDAY!!! 270Dec 14, 2010 3:23 pm Had a call from my CLO this morning. She was wanting to book in the pre-handover meeting on site for Monday at 8.00am. No problems I said. Then... She proceeded to tell me that straight after this meeting we could make our way into DAH offices to PICK UP THE KEYS!!! Now I'm getting excited - but a bit panicked. What do I need to organise, besides packing and getting ready to move. It's been 10 years since we've done this. I know I need to organise insurance and the phone to be connected. What else??? Don't breath in Asbestos Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - KEYS ON MONDAY!!! 272Dec 14, 2010 4:19 pm woooohooooo jbarry - keys on Monday I'm so glad for you... and so jealous as you have everything done before you get the keys and a pool on top ... RE what to organise I know that you need to get the Insurance as you can't get the bank cheque for your final payment without it. Phone/internet connection. Do you have a letter box at the new house? You might need to organise re-director of mail for a while until the new bills start coming to your new address. As well you will probably need to inform all the suppliers e.g. power, water, etc of your address change and probably the school, doctor, etc... Not sure if you have any other services you need to connect/inform... Anybody else with better advice? Congrats Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - KEYS ON MONDAY!!! 274Dec 15, 2010 2:52 am Congrats J, makes sure the final payments are in order/prepared cause I have heard and read too many last minute rush stories. And when you move.. make sure you organise week before for final read of utilities before they disconnect / transfer. Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - KEYS ON MONDAY!!! 275Dec 21, 2010 12:04 am Sooooooo....... any keys today????? Re: The Osprey Build (DAH - WA) - KEYS ON MONDAY!!! 276Dec 21, 2010 1:28 pm Hi Guys I'm happy to say that handover went well yesterday and we are in possesion of lots of shiny new keys. We will progressively move in over the next few days. As we've got the current house on the market with people being shown through in the next 3 days, our main move won't happen until Friday. BUT we'll be in before Christmas. There is lots happening today and tomorrow and obviously lots of unpacking and putting away. We emptied around 15 boxes last night which was great. There are some small items that need to be looked at by DAH but nothing major. Amazing what you find when you start getting into the the little nooks around the house. I hope you are all well.
