Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 3012May 28, 2012 5:56 pm Hi guys, Finally I got my contract and HIA booklet from Carlisle. I check the drawing plans (A3 papers) and all looks good. Is there anything else I need to pay attention with? I assume the contract is standard wording for T-range houses. They attached the tender, my selections. I don't see anything new. No site cost / council breakdown, no details on slab design. Is it the same for you guys??? Firstly the land is 15 feet by 33 feet with easement at the back. I think the front has too be at least 3 or 4 meters and with the easement i'm assuming another 3 meters. What homes are on offer for me to build on this land? What is the process that Carlise homes goes through to check if the land is suitable for one of there homes to be built. I would prefer a single story as less hassle with approval by neighbours and possibly less costly. I would love some advise on people who have experience in this. Thank YOu.... Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 3018May 29, 2012 3:19 pm Guess I'll be doing it after then - Haven't gotten to that point in the conversation with them The 4.5 are not nearly bright enough IMO. Seems Carlisle do listen, after sending an email outlining my complaints I had a call the very next morning. Need to organise a time for SS and his boss to come out to check our issues and rectify. Sadly been so busy havent had a chance to call. Coobri, great to see your build progressing wont be long now that you are at lock up!!! An update on the house. Well the photo below sums it up I think. Our turf will arrive wednesday for the top (sir walter) and the nature strip (cheapest crap I could buy LOL), the pavers will pattern across from the stairs squared with the deck. A few more plants and the front will be done. So glad we forked out extra coin for older trees really helps make the house look settled. Deck was in spotted gum and LOVE the finish of it, not bad for someone who failed woodwork in high school Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 3020May 29, 2012 7:30 pm Congratulations!
