Sorry but I'm telling everyone!!! Can't wait to decorate his room in our new Riverton 25 later this year!! CONGRATULATIONS Titch! It's all happening for you - new home, new family member. What's next??? klam Just did my colour selection recently and I'm disappointed that I can get under-mounted sinks for the en-suite as that's not allowed for the T-range homes. Everything went well but I'm fairly disappointed with the choice of vanity sinks they have available. Klam, I've had them in a previous build and would never go for them again. You lose half of the space in each vanity, making the top shelf virtually useless. Guess it's all personal preference, but we loved the selection available. Plus they were all standard! Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2093May 04, 2011 3:53 pm Has anyone had issues with Carlisle website and they way it behaves on Chrome/IE. When you try to view the pictures for any house it just starts randomly changing the pictures...very irritating....have not tried firefox yet...but guessing it will be the same. 26/2 - Sales 23/3 - Colours 31/3 - Tender 14/4 - Contract 7/5 - Taps 12/6 - Site start 15/6 - Slab 27/6 - Frame 1/8 - Lockup/Fixing 29/9 - PCI 25/10 - Handover Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2094May 04, 2011 4:40 pm Reinsey Klam, I've had them in a previous build and would never go for them again. Yes, I guess you do have a point, but I'm not too keen on the design of the other choices though Has anyone approached Argus Technology directly with regards to putting in more data points rather than via the packages offered from CH? I find the options inflexible and it will be a pain to do it after handover. Does CH allow conduits to be put in for future cabling? I asked at the colour selection and they weren't too sure. Hi Klam, I think you should try to have a quiet word with your SS once the build gets underway - depending on their attitude this may be the simplest approach and could probably be done with a minimum of fuss once they're in and doing the electrical rough-in or the smart cabling. Re: The CARLISLE HOMES & SPECTRA General Information Thread 2100May 08, 2011 7:09 pm Hi Manoj, I got 50 piers (as recommended by Engineer). Laid out similar to your attached picture. Was your piering recommedation from a soil test on your land or CH basing the foundation design from their data of the area? The engineers beleive that CH will be taking a lot of rock out of my block that all the soil will be disturbed and loose. Thus the required piering. I begin to wonder how people like PD can give you a fixed site cost without seeing an acutal soil test report. How do they get the margin back if they find out there's plenty of rock and excavation costs will be high??? A question to the computer wizzes of the forum.....how to upload a picture or photo to show? CKR 0 4972 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6145 You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14078 |
