I just want the stainless steel between the cooktop and rangehood. There will not be anything else on the wall to the side of it, just paint. I have seem some photos when the steel stops at the start of the rangehood and some where it stops just after the hood of the rangehood. What do you think looks best? Re: Stainless steel splashback 5Sep 17, 2009 9:00 am Personally, I would go for it finishing at the rangehood. To me it would give it a more thought out and finished look. As for the edges, they are just straight...the very edge is very slightly rounded so it's not a sharp edge. Do you have a photo of your kitchen design? Re: Stainless steel splashback 7Sep 22, 2009 1:51 pm I think you would be able to...I would just check with the person you buy it from for expert information. Good luck! I'm not sure if gumption is abrasive or not, but you could check that. I had tried everything and nothing worked, and I was amazed when this stuff worked and so easily.
