Does that sound reasonable? I wouldn't know what to expect it to cost! Chill. I wouldnt pay anyone to clean it up yet. Wait nutil you get a site start date, and then contact the builders next door. just tell them your site start date, and tell them to ensure it's all removed prior to this. If they dont want to play ball, just tell them that you'll remove it at their cost. It will disappear. Re: Another Santorini 26 By M*tricon! 25Sep 18, 2009 2:23 pm JuniorMin Chill. As it turns out hubby was adamant he wanted it gone asap so as not to delay our site start when M* are ready and had arranged for the guys with the excavators to remove it the next morning. Lucky for us those guys were honest enough to ring hubby and tell him that someone had already removed it! The builder must have done the right thing! The guys with the excavators couldve easily have said that they removed it and asked us for $100! Phew! Now lets hope there is no more rubbish dumped before site start! Our site cut has been booked for next Tuesday the 29th! Now lets hope the news im hearing that Victoria is to expect floods is wrong. I know we are in a drought & desperately need the rain but I really really want my slab I was also given some sad news, our CSC who has been fantastic over the last 7months is no longer looking after our build . We will supposedly hear from our new CSC in the next 2 - 3 weeks. I just hope he/she is as efficient and friendly as the last one!!!! In the mean time I just don't know who Id need to contact between now and then if I have any problems! I know Im getting ahead of my self but can anyone tell me how long I can expect it to take from first site scrape to slab being complete? Oh and how long should the slab cure before they start the frame? Just thought some of you veterans to this sport might be able to tell me! Our site start has officially started today!! We now have a block of dirt with the cut out of our house! I didn't have a chance to get out to see it today but DH did and he didn't take any photo's Anyway, il get down there on the weekend and take some pics. Our base commencement is now forecast for next Wednesday, so fingers crossed for good weather next week. On another note, we received a letter today from our new CSC introducing herself and there was an information sheet attached that advised we need to erect a sign with our our names and lot numbers on our block for the SS & suppliers to better identify our land! I thought that Metr*con puts these signs up! Atleast that's what iv seen on all the M* homes in our estate! Did any of you have to provide your owns signs?
