Re: Our PorterDavis Cremorne 42: 14 months later 16Oct 27, 2009 10:02 pm Hey guys (miss petepie, jspitz, Rowena, Hels & pauljulian) Thanks for your lovely comments, much appreciated. I have had so many comments regarding my side merbau gates. I actually constructed them myself, inc the steel frame. I wanted gates that were more durable and stronger than what you buy from hardware stores. I was fortunate that my dad, had some spare steel at home. I did purchase the 90mm merbau, used stainless steel hex bolts & lock nuts. The steel frame has been supported on solid stainless steel hinges, and many bolts secure it to the frame, along with lots of solid weld. The gates took me about 1 month to construct. The merbau has 4 coats of feast n watson natural oil. You can purchase a steel tube gate frame from bunnings at various dimensions, but check out the welds. I havent chosen the synthetic grass, am looking at tiger turf, approx $50 per sqm. Magic turf, grass1 are other alternatives, visit there websites for more details. Its nice to see other forum members are considering karndean vinyl flooring, its a great alternative to tiles. I can assure you, the vinyl is so nice to walk on, alot warmer than tiles. I wish I knew about this site before we built, WE had to research the hard way, spending hours inspecting display homes. Thanks Andy You can visit my home blog: http://wallace-cremorne41.blogspot.com Re: Our PorterDavis Cremorne 42: 14 months later 17Dec 01, 2009 7:12 am Hey guys Im receiving many messages asking about our lounge suite. Thanks for all your lovely comments. The couches were custom built using australian hardwood, australian fabric and dunlop foam. They were purchased from LUST firniture. I highely recommend the wide cushions, so comfortable and great for taller people. Our ottoman 1.2m x 1.2m opens up so we can utilise the space for storage, also acts as a great coffee table or when kids are playing the playstation. I have a photo of Andy and a handful of kids on that ottoman. It's a great size Have to say Andy's couches are great, I loved them so much I went to find something similar for our place. Agree the 900mm wide cushions are very comfy. We've had to re-arrange our family room to accommodate the Christmas Tree, it's looking alot like your did this time last year (minus the fireplace) Happy at Home This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this. As for the unscheduled site visits, most builders are quite… 1 28321 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23780 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23898 |
