Can't wait to see the pics when you get back in Oh am interested in your limestone driveway, did you organise that through redink? Do you remember the cost? Also the glass splashback is that through redink (I heard they charge a lot) or external source? Thank you! and your right, I am sure time will fly by I cant wait to TAKE some pics haha! Yep, the driveway is through redink and to upgrade the driveway and path to liquid limestone was $720, to also do the crossover was $2,724.00 - and we get $800 back from the council with that. A big cost but I am hoping it will be worth it! For the glass splashback we didnt go through redink (as your right, they charge a fortune!) we went with All Perth Glass and it was $1,800 from the roof all the way down to the benchtop and across Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - PCI DONE! We had a bit of a drama with the splashback! I had my heart set on mirrored glass but we contacted 4 different companies and they either didnt do it, were going to charge us a fortune to do it or told us nobody in Perth does it anymore due to it not being able to withstand heat and cracking etc etc. So anyway, I settled on silver glass (sticking neutral!) in the end. Must have happened for a reason - would have hated cleaning the mirror everyday I am sure haha. Lol! I hear you about the driveway! Good thing it was my hubby who decided we just HAD to have it! Gave me a bit of pull when it came to getting some things I wanted Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - PCI DONE! Awaiting hando 315Mar 29, 2010 6:17 pm Hey Purple Butterfly, I was quoted $2500 for the cross over in pavers anyway. I have been told to allow that just incase :/ for an extra few hundred I can have limestone Jess - Did they seal that for you?? Did redink credit you much on the tiling behind the stove? I am looking at doing the same and want to know what it will cost to tile all the way behind the ranghood and how much to do the same area but in glass as it may just be a few $$ difference. Your house is looking awesome btw!!! Do you remember the colours in your bathroom and what tiles you used on the floor. I read you used snowdrift formica but I cant find if you mentioned what the benchtops were. Unfortunately, Redink didnt credit us anything for the tiling behind the stove! Thank you! The colours in our bathroom - The benchtops are "brushed silver" the cupboards are "snowdrift white" and the floor tiles are "mist grey" Hope that helps! Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - PCI DONE! Cheers PB Hi PB The driveway is just flat (I am pretty sure anyway - guess I will find out Wednesday!) Apparently, it is quite easy to do a pattern (stencil) afterwards so will see how we go. I think there was about 5 colours to choose from so not a great deal but I always wanted limestone anyway Re: Building - RedInk Homes Perth - PCI DONE! Awaiting hando 320Mar 29, 2010 11:36 pm Thanks for that Jess, I showed my husband some pics of limestone drives and told him the pricing and he loved it haha, he's hooked...we'll see what the pricing is like next week at prestart You have mandatory building inspections and privately engaged building inspections. The difference between the two comes down to inspecting the building so it's safe and… 3 18065 1 4671 2 3001 |
