I have GOT to see them to see if I am going to go with the benchtop as well as cabinet! hehe ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Re: I have a benchtop...woopy doo! 14Mar 18, 2009 12:00 pm bev It's great to see your kitchen come together SuH Did you design it all yourself? It is one thing I did, but I did get lots of ideas from magazines. I was looking at my toenail polish one day as one does, and I really loved the colour (I have about 5 bottles so I don't run out) and so that is the Ferric Sheen I found to match. Must admit the colour consultant suggested the Ironbark splashback, loved it straight away as well. We were at freedom on the weekend and both my wife and i fell in love with a kitchen very similar to yours. Is it a freedom kitchen?
I booked straight away for a design consultation. My wife was quite shocked as i am a cabinetmaker my self and have never been a fan of modular kitchens but the quality seems to be there and it just looked too good to not give them a try. Anyway, looks great, glad to hear they did a good job on the stone joins, they can be a real eye sore when done poorly. 2 2531 Hi Courtney The mitred edges are glued up with epoxy so those little holes and gaps are areas that weren't filled correctly. Silicone is the wrong product to fill them… 2 12928 Thanks mate. Yeah good points! Leaning towards Option 3 to get a bit extra space in the cabinets but not going too crazy high (and expensive).
