OZEP, I don't want to burst your bubble but I would be very surprised if Telstra agree to run copper to your house. Good luck with your endeavours.
Can one of the providers be Telstra?
Cheers,

Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 397May 13, 2010 8:21 pm Had our PCI this morning. A bit of a mixed bag but on the whole not bad. We had engaged a building inspector who picked up a few important things that we hadn't e.g. exterior timber work that has not been treated/painted to withstand weather. He also backed up a lot of the things that we had found. The unfortunate thing is that his recommendations are just that - recommendations. The builder does not have to act on these. We now have another 'look' in 7 days and then hand over the final payment. My question is to those of you whose build was over - ours is 11 weeks over. Did your builder deduct the amount that was due to you because the house was not completed in the specified time? Practical Completion Inspection wondering We had engaged a building inspector who picked up a few important things that we hadn't e.g. exterior timber work that has not been treated/painted to withstand weather. It's below the stackstone on the exterior portico. The side and underneath section of the timber which is exposed has been painted after it was installed. However the top which is up against the stackstone has not been painted at all. I'll have to take a ladder and photograph this. It is exposed to the weather and will deteriorate. What house are you building? And where is the exterior timber?
