I'm looking forward to NOT having an apartment block of university students living next door that decide 10:30 is the time to START the party on weeknights. I'm looking forward to NOT having young blokes that like showing off how small their "standard equipment package" is by roaring up and down the street (A cul-de-sac at that!). Enough negativity! Now, I am looking forward to a double garage, a shed, MOWING!, garden beds with sunlight on them!, a fully data cabled house, my darling wife is in rapture over getting her art studio (meant losing the media room ), not having to hide the cat for RE inspections, having a second cat!, a dining area, not sharing the computer room with the wife's art supplies, did I mention a shed?, a bigger wardrobe, 2 more bedrooms, more cupboard space in the kitchen, being able to say "My Home", not paying off someone else's mortgage. And finally, since I moved to Cairns 5 years ago, I have dreamed of living in Redlynch Valley Estate and now I will. It reminds me so much of The Gap/Ashgrove area in Brisbane and I've always wanted to live there, so this suits me fine! I just went out of the heated parts of this unit and its freeeeeeeeeeezing! The toilet is sooooooo cold!! 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... The thing was too small and rarely got any breeze where it was placed at the rental. After 2 months we finally have an outside clothes line now. Now feels like we've really moved in. woohoo. Love having room to move in the house again too. Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5727 The worst thing you can do is sign a building contract without a pre contract review.
