Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our Hartley 361- build 286Apr 01, 2013 8:37 am Hi thankyou it's (mud pack on pearl) I will take a close up pick tomorrow Re: Our Hartley 361- build 287Apr 04, 2013 10:51 am our dream home Thanks Mac yeah we are about three weeks off according to our SS today. He said that none of them smoke and it must of been a pencil he was holding... Call me silly but i don't know many pencils with smoke tips never mind... Just wanna get in already lol.. Got the chandalier off e by yesterday so hoping they can put it in shortly. Are you happy with your build now that you are in? Is the Hartley practical now that you have had a chance to live in it ? So far no complaints with our's, so many changes to the original it probably isn't the same! I kind of wish I had of left the kitchen and fridge as per the plan, now I have to walk all the way around to get into the kitchen I am in the process of picking sheer curtains for the whole house, really like the sheers on the outside and curtain/blind on the inside of the window. Just cant decide on the colour, one person said to go lighter with dark walls then another said go dark???? all to hard! Hope you have your keys! Re: Our Hartley 361- build 288Apr 04, 2013 7:50 pm Hay Mac, We are meant to get the keys In the morning we were sheduled for today but unfortunately it got postponed We have just been packing over the Easter break, all our life's worth of stuff is in little boxes in the garage. We really had no exact handover date until the other day so we booked Removeilists for the 18th . We plan to move over there ASAP just take the basics until the truck arrives. Put some sheets up the other day most of my lights and pendants are in they look amazing really pleased with them. Fence next then curtains. Thinking double roller blinds in the back kids hall way and then shutters for ensuite, living, study. And then drapes for kitchen and main. So much to pay for feel like I'm loosing my mind. Also have to get the antenna and plasma mounted! So no tv just DVDs for a week. School holidays is a little tricky with the kids getting under my feet, poor things have not done much but pack.. Hopefully Christmas will be a better break for them Re: Our Hartley 361- build 289Apr 05, 2013 10:38 pm OMG the day started out with an email "sorry we don't have payment yet no handover today" we asked the broker for a cheque but he decided to eft instead... After several emails and being told to relax... I called for a eft receipt it turned out the bank paid it to the wrong account...we were then told it could take up to two weeks to sort out... Long story short I ended up having to drive into the city and pick up a cheque and beg our SS to do Hanover this afternoon... WE ARE IN FINALLY The house looks amazing I love the splashback with the silver tone of the oven and range hood the FS bath is beautiful I've got to get use to this space We will be moving most of the stuff over the weekend but for now floor mattresses are fine just wanted those silver keys I will post some pics tomorrow Re: Our Hartley 361- build 290Apr 05, 2013 11:06 pm Congratulations ODH, great all is sorted and it's YOURS! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: Our Hartley 361- build 292Apr 06, 2013 8:08 am Omg what a nightmare!!! Re: Our Hartley 361- build 295Apr 12, 2013 6:39 pm Yes there are provisions for the dishwasher, be aware they put the taps for washing machine in the cabinets, been here for a week today and loving it Much more space then I ever thought great design DFH Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17628 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23787 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23922 |
