Me and my girl have recently bought an 1acre block and want to set the house back about 30 metres back from the street. Most of the builders have a standard 5-10 metres they will connect services to. Saw the sparky there with a dingo one day running the trench for the power & phone. We were never asked for more money, I never raised it so I guess it was factored into our cost from the beginning or they make more on some and less on others. Pay again? No retribution?
