This is my very first post on this site!!!! About 7-8years ago when we were building this house we really wanted timber floors but from memory the quote was somewhere 20,000 and being first timers we didnt want out lay the money because we werent going to stay here to long but now we dont want to move! Anyway back then we really liked the products From TRUEGRID, so I was someone can give me their thoughts on these floors!! We have just built and they used Trugrid flooring. Wer were upgraded to a better quality due to no stock of out product which is lucky because it can scratch relatively easy and I now wish I had got a light colour. I have kids and a dog and vacuum it and mop it and not long after you can see the dust and it hardly looks clean. I'm not sure if they have a glossy finish on some but ours is a flat finish and I prefer a glossy finish. I like the flooring just not my colour. I can't remember the series number, i know they didn't have the series number on the web site also. It was through Me**icon. I must say though, my mum has just built and put tiles through and we can tell the difference in the feel of the warmth underfoot compared to the timber. I think looking at timber makes you feel warmer. I used to have in the rental a light real timber floor and had no problems with the dirt or hair showing so must just be a dark colour thing. I can show you a picture if you need. Tam 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer.
