Our benchtops are going to be polished concrete so I can form it up however I like probably with a 20 x 30mm rebate so the top of the track is flush with the benchtop. I also won't need any steel frame support underneath as the total width will be 50mm internal overhang + 300mm wall width + 200mm overhang = total 550mm. We are also thinking of somewhere like 80mm thick so it should self support ( I know it's thick and therefore heavy but it will be to match the other kitchen benchtops ).
