Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Aug 25, 2008 7:33 am We are in a bit of a dilemma... We have added a wall to our Lounge to close off and create a Theatre Room. Problem is to retain the 5 star rating we've been told there needs to be a 2100mm wide space in the wall to allow natural light to enter the room. After handover, we were originally going to put a sliding door in to close off - but now believe it is too wide, so bi-folds are the only option... Any ideas?
Also, how difficult is it to install a sliding door into an existing wall/space? Thanks. Re: Sliding Door or Bi-Fold Doors? 2Aug 25, 2008 11:11 am Instead of Bi fold doors for our home we are putting in sliding aluminium stacker doors. Cheaper than Bi folds and also can have flyscreens.
It would be cheaper to have it done now rather than later, although it can be done later if you so wish but it will cost! Finally Designing and building the home I always wanted to!
