We are going to build with Henley, and if they aren't too expensive I think we will get these for sure. Hey I've just looked through the documents and it looks like they were $71.28 each. Man I didn't realize we paid that much for them. I thought it was less. Oh well no regrets huh!! Its been a crazy couple of weeks being back at work and just life gets in the way. But there hasn't been anything new to report. I still need to take those photos. I'm waiting till the house is a more tidy before doing that. We still have a few boxes to unpack. Plus a full garage. So a bit still to do. We haven't done much to the house other than paint a few feature walls. We still need to do our Landscaping and blinds which will take a while before they are done. But we did discover our SS screwed up big time on something. While going through our documents and compliance certificates we discovered that they installed the wrong wall and ceiling batts. Our batts had to be upgraded to meet 6 star energy rating. So walls were supposed to be R3.0 and ceiling were R6.0 the cert said R2.0 for walls and R.3.0 ceiling.. Obviously they can't do anything about the wall ones. They fixed the ceiling ones. And we are still waiting on letter to confirm our house meets 6 star rating.... so that was disappointing. We are still waiting on a few things to be fixed from handover. Other than that. We love the new house. Its feels like we've been living there for months already even though it has only been 2 weeks. It means that you and your house are a good fit Re: Our Build - Monaco Nouveau Q1 Pic Fest P18 - we are in 415Jan 25, 2013 10:46 am Yeah its great. Every now and then we notice things that we wish we could have changed or had a bit different but I'm sure everyone has that. Oh well no regrets huh!! at $71.28, I might rethink doing the whole house with them. maybe just the main living area and the Master Suite. They do look awesome though. And the best part is you don't have to keep switching the lights and off when you don't know which one you need. Lol. If so, they should be made to do whatever is required to make it 6 star if your house doesn't meet the standard. Even if that means they have to double the insulation in the ceiling. Re: Our Build - Monaco Nouveau Q1 Pic Fest P18 - we are in 419Jan 25, 2013 12:32 pm 6 star is a requirement for all new builds in Victoria. Well they are saying it does meet 6 star even without the higher batts coz we have double glazed windows. So will have to try and find out if that's correct or not and then go from there.
