They also install a conduit from the street and internal conduit both with a draw wire to where the network termination device (NTD)will be installed. NBN co will install your conduit also but won't charge you for it but you won't get the internal data points if they do it which isn't a great problem if you want to use wireless or do your own data cable runs. You can just install your wireless router where the NTD is and be happy with wireless. In regards to building in a opticom estate i didn't think you would need an NBN install as the developer would take care of it all including wiring the house internally with data points. Agreed, despite waterford county developer saying not required, EB are still persisting... I am not going to pay for it.. |
